Lambeau Field
Project: Lambeau Field
Project Description: The challenge at Lambeau Field was to keep the project moving on schedule while hundreds of thousands of people moved in and out of the Green Bay Packers games. It took just over two years and almost 11,000 tons of steel to complete the project. The renovation increased the stadium’s capacity from 61,000 seats to 71,000 and includes the 170 luxury suites.
The design-build fast track nature of the project made change orders practially the order of the day. Because of the complex geometry of the bowl structure, the detailing and fabrication on the job were exceptional.
